Play Together has partnered with Nico Segal, Nikko Washington, and Merit School of Music to launch a city-wide collaborative art project. We’re inviting the city of Chicago–students, artists, musicians, and the broader community–to create music with Nico Segal or art with Nikko Washington. Proceeds from the sale of art generated through this project will benefit Merit School of Music and scholarships for participating Chicagoland schools and help fund future Play Together projects that benefit a broad range of Chicago-based arts education programs.
For Educators
We’re inviting Chicagoland schools to participate in this project. You’ll get access to a guided curriculum for how to use this project as an assignment in arts and music classes, and become eligible for a scholarship for students.
What is Play Together?
We bring great artists together to collaborate and shape their communities for the better. Play Together is a 501(c)(3) artist advocacy nonprofit organization that provides leading Chicago artists a platform to invest in our city's youth arts programs through the release of audio/visual collaborations. Each Play Together collaboration strategically pairs a musician with a visual artist to benefit a chosen nonprofit cause in Chicago.
