The Band: Violet Crime

For the Play Together collaboration, Violet Crime will be producing:

• An extended play album, produced by Sam Guaiana with additional production by Derek DiScanio (State Champs).

Play Together’s mission is to connect artists to produce collaborations that multiply their impact, and then invest proceeds from the sale of the art and music back into the Chicago community to help foster the next generation of creators here in our city.

For our first collaboration, we’ve partnered with Intonation Music. Profits from the sale of every fine art print, every album, and every garment are donated to support the work Intonation Music does to help Chicago youth start rock and pop bands. Intonation Music provides instruments, music education, and opportunities to perform at venues around the city to students in underserved communities.
